Nitro Volleyball Club has continued its partnership with

Crull Fitness to offer its players a strength training program in addition to their two practice a week. Crull Fitness is the home of "Explosive Balance" and will be using a Unilateral and Bilateral Volleyball Training to: Increase Strength, Increase Quickness, Increase Speed and Increase Vertical.

Objective: To provide quality team training to Nitro Volleyball Club athletes.

Training Programs: Team training will be for 1 hour per week for 8 weeks or 1 hour twice a week for 8 weeks (16 sessions) and coordinated with the Nitro coaching staff to complement on court training. Training will be conducted within the Crull Fitness Training Centers (Sportsplex or II Creeks).

Training to include:
Performance Profiles (Testing of Each Athlete)
Flexibility/Stretching (Mondo track and stretching area)
Strength - upper and lower body (Machine/Free Weights)
Core programs (Resistance Balls/Medicine Balls/Bosu Trainer)
Conditioning (High Performance Incline Treadmills, Ellipticals, Stationary Bikes)
Speed and Agility (Bungies/Rings/Ladders/Parachutes)
Vertical/Explosiveness (Plyo Boxes/Vertec/Bungies)
First Step Quickness (Mondo Track/Domes/Rings)
Hydration/Nutrition Lectures and Counseling
