Congratulations to Coach Neuhoff for taking Parish Episcopal to the TAPPS 5A state final four. In only its second year of varsity volleyball coach Neuhoff won the TAPPS District 2-5A with a record of 14-0 and earning a spot in the state tournament. Parish ended the season 10th in DFW in 4A schools, 7th in the state for private schools and earned Neuhoff coach of the year honors.

We would also like to congratulate Nitro Players:
Amshatar Stephenson (15 National 07-08, 14 National 06-07, 13 National 05-06), Kayla Bonina (15 National 06-07) and Becca Stockdale (17 Regional 07-08, 17 Regional 06-07). Amshi earned Second Team All-District Honors in TAPPS district 2-5A. Amshi was a starting freshman on Parish Episcopal varsity team. Kayla is a sophomore outside hitter, Becca is a junior right side hitter who all went to the TAPPS 5A final four coached by Jenny Neuhoff.

Katie Wood (15 National 07-08, 14 National 06-07, 13 National 05-06) freshman at Hockaday. Hockaday won the SPC North district title with a record of 6-1 and made it the SPC state final four.

Congratulations to the Parkhill Jr. High 7th grade volleyball "A" team. They went undefeated this season in match play, and won the post-season tournament. Great Job Girls!!

Congratulations to the North Jr. High Lady Vikings 8th grade volleyball "A" team who finished off their junior high volleyball careers by winning the RISD 8th grade tournament.  The Lady Vikings entered the tournament with a season record of six wins and only one loss. Great Job Girls!!

Announcing New Coaches for 2007-2008 Season
Nitro is happy to announce the addition of the following coaches to our exceptional staff.  Bobby Kroll, Lindsey Serpone, Steve Boeding and Mary Le join the Nitro staff for the 2007-2008 season. We feel very fortunate that Nitro can offer 24 experienced coaches that share the same vision and commitment to our players. Lindsey Serpone - 16/17 National Head Coach
Lindsey comes to us from Canada and has over 15 years of playing experience. Lindsey played Outside Hitter at Sacred Heart HS in Montreal, QC from 1992 to 1994. She then played at John Abbott College in St. Anne de Bellevue, QC. In 1993 she played on the Montreal Summer Elite Team. She continued playing as an outside hitter for Concordia University and then Dawson College. Lindsey plays for various USAV teams, leagues and tournaments. She has coached both Varsity and Middle school teams for Sacred Heart HS in Montreal, QC. Lindsey is currently the freshman coach for Parish Episcopal School. This will be Lindsey's first year with Nitro.
 
Bobby Kroll - 15 National Head Coach
Bobby coached in 1988 at the University of Illinois under Dr. Mike Hebert (presently the Head Coach of the University of Minnesota). During the 1988 season Illinois went 18-0, Big-10 Champs and went to the Final Four. Bobby has extensive playing experience playing in the French Professional League. He has been a camp clinician throughout the country under some of the premier volleyball teachers and coaches in the world for over 20 years. This will be Bobby's first year with Nitro.

Steve Boeding - 12 Regional Head Coach
Steve played intramurals at the University of Nebraska and on a U.S. Army volleyball team in South Korea. This will be his fifth year as a USAV club coach, the first four years with Dallas Summit Volleyball Club. He has coached volleyball for the past eleven years in the Dallas Parochial League at the middle school level, coaching boys, girls and co-ed teams at two different schools. Since the Garland Volleyball Association started in 2001, Steve has had one or more teams in all of the Spring and Fall seasons and occasionally coached Summer league teams, running volleyball clinics for third through sixth grade students during the summer months and helping with various club camps. He is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and is CAP Level I certified and IMPACT certified with USA Volleyball. He has also coached soccer for fourteen years, holding a State D coaching license, and has coached baseball and basketball. Steve also referees high school volleyball and soccer, is a member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials and  National Association of Sports Officials, has umpired baseball, refereed American football and basketball. Steve is CPR trained through the American Red Cross and is Sport First Aid certified through the American Sports Education Program. 

Alvin Lee - 12 Metro Black Head Coach
Alvin comes from the beaches of sunny Southern California, where he grew up and played volleyball for most of his life. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Computer Science, he moved here to Dallas to pursue graduate studies in Theology. Alvin serves full-time as an Assistant Pastor at a church in Richardson, also works on the side as a freelance web developer, but pretty much spends any remaining free time doing volleyball-related activities.

This is Alvin's first year as a club coach at Nitro, and he joins Nitro after finishing a season of coaching the middle school girls' volleyball team at Scofield Christian School. Alvin is Impact Certified, loves to play, and loves to coach. He and his wife, Bethany, have been married for over 3 years.

Mary Le - 16/17 Regional Assistant Coach
Mary originates from Long Beach, California, but Texas is where she began her volleyball career. She played at Wylie High School for four years where she became 2006 Varsity Team Captain, 2005 & 2006 All-District Defensive Player of the Year, 2005 & 2006 First Team All-District, 2006 All-State Academic Athlete, and 2006 is when her team won the Area Championship. She played club volleyball for four years; two years for Texas Assault 14's Elite, 16's Elite when her team won the 2004 Regional Championship. She also played for Collin Juniors 15's for a year and Dallas Summit 17's Elite for a year. She is currently working to get the right exposure to coach as a career. This is her first year with Nitro.
